When you schedule your appointment with TWISH SPA, you are agreeing to the following policies. Should you have any questions about our policies, and how they apply to your situation, please contact us via e-mail (twishspa@gmail.com), or in-person at your location with our specialist.
APPOINTMENT POLICY
Reservation policy
In order to obtain your desired appointment, we recommend scheduling your treatment as far in-advance as possible. A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation at TWISH SPA on phone or online. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policy requirements and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. You can choose to pay with any other accepted methods of payment upon checkout. Details of our cancellation policy, and when the card on file is charged, are provided below.
CHECK-IN POLICY
We are a hybrid Spa. When we perform services at our location or online, we ask that you please arrive 10 minutes prior to your reservation start time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals; however, the length of the treatment may have to be adjusted to accommodate the next scheduled reservation. If the scheduled treatment cannot be adjusted based on how late you have arrived, you will be subject to the cancellation policy and charges, as per below. If we perform the services at your location, we ask that you prepare a clean and safe place for our technicians. We require a minimum space of 4 Sq metres to properly perform a service comfortably at your location.
REFUND, CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER CREDIT POLICY
To book any of our services, we require that you hold a treatment membership plan which gives you
access to a full treatment and discounts on additional services (Please visit www.twishspa.com for
details on our treatment plans currently available).
This policy will be voided if you transfer services to an outside provider.
Appointments Cancellation policy
We value your business and ask that you respect the spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to
cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance. Any cancellations or
rescheduling requests with less than 48 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting
to 50% of the scheduled service(s). We automatically deactivate your membership payment file when
you missed your monthly appointment without rescheduling. In this case, we refund 50% of the payment
if the cancellation fees apply. Otherwise, you have to rebook the service the following month.
When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but we also missed the
opportunity to accommodate other potential inquiries for the same time slot. Additionally, many
times our technicians’ schedules are changed to accommodate your reservation requests and we are
obligated to honour our technicians’ time and wages. It’s for these reasons we have implemented our
cancellation policy. If you missed your appointment in
All services require a credit card OR gift certificate to guarantee a reservation, so please have
your card information ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation OR
no-show. Upon checkout, you may choose to pay with any other accepted methods of payment (Debit,
Visa, MasterCard, Amex, or Cash).
Twish membership fees
Monthly membership payments are required to receive the TWISH SPA services and discounts off of
products and add-on services. Cancellation of membership is done anytime within the month period
before the next biling cycle. Payments are automatically deducted from your registered credit/debit
card on file. Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle will result in invoicing and
collecting 100% of the membership plan.
No Facial, Body or Enhancement treatments performed by TWISH SPA will ever be refundable. Any
service rendered are final payments.
- Membership fees will be automatically charged to your preferred payment method on a monthly basis.
- All memberships require a minimum subscription period of six months.
- Memberships can be upgraded or downgraded for Premium and Elite memberships only after the first month period.
- Unused treatments can be rolled over to the following month for Premium and Elite members only.
- Membership cancellation before the minimum subscription period will incur a cancellation fee equal to one month's subscription.
- Membership cancellation requires a 30-day notice. Failure to observe this, will result to a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the scheduled service(s).
- Memberships can be paused for a maximum of two months per year without affecting the subscription period.
- Membership benefits are non-transferable and can only be availed by the member.
- Membership discounts are not applicable in conjunction with other ongoing promotions.
IPL Laser Services
Your payment is based on purchasing number of treatments. Refund is based on unused treatments not
based on unused time. No refund allowed on any services completed.
(e.g. Laser Hair Removal Series) – Your payment is based on purchasing 6 treatments. If you receive
6 treatments, no refund is due. All credit prorating will be based on unused treatments. There is no
prorating for time. e.g. If you purchased a package of 6 and received only 4 you have 2 unused
treatments. These treatments may be used at any time or gifted to a friend.
You WILL BE charged FULL PRICE PER TREATMENT of the procedure. The price per treatment of the procedure you purchased is on your online/electronic payment receipt. All discounts (e.g., monthly specials) and credits issued when you bought the service will be lost. Service will be prorated using price per treatment listed on your receipt. If you earned friends and family credit – this will be LOST if you cancel/break the treatment agreement. A prorated balance will be credited to your spa account towards another service package. No spa service credits may be used at any time towards any skin care products or aesthetic injectable medications.
You will be charged the price per treatment based on your package. The balance will be used towards
a new package. Any free treatments or rewards have no cash value and cannot be credited towards
another service.

IPL Laser Hair Removal
Every client is different. The service was rendered, no refund is due. If you are unhappy with your
results, a clinical evaluation will be required to evaluate the effectiveness. The body naturally
wants to grow hair. Hair fhas three growth phases. It is important to complete a treatment of 6 in
order to address all 3 phases. Stubborn hair as mens facial hair, leg hair, perineal hair may
require up to 12 treatments for marked reduction in hair growth. NO REFUND is due based on your
satisfaction. Credit for unused IPL treatments may be applied to our facial services and must be
used within 90 days.
In case of redness or adverse reaction, NO REFUND is due. This is part of the risk of the procedure and was explained to you when you signed the contract. Our goal is to eliminate/minimize the risk of burn or any other adverse event, but we want to be upfront with you so you can make a well informed educated decision.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home or with you at all times. TWISH SPA is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
REFUND POLICY
Gift Cards
All gift card, gift certificate, and service purchases are non-refundable. We do not allow the third party sale of our gift cards. Any gift card being sold by any person or business that is not TWISH SPA will be void. All funds are in Canadian dollars. They may be used towards any boutique product or service. Gift Card must be present at time of purchase/usage. Lost or stolen Gift Cards cannot be redeemed or replaced. Gift Cards do not expire unless promotional. Promotional cards cannot be combined with any discounted services/products, packages, or series. All sales are final. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
Products
All products purchased at TWISH SPA can be exchanged or returned for a full refund within 7 days if unopened, unused, and is in resellable condition. After 7 days, considering the product is yet unopened, unused, and is resellable, we may accept the product for an exchange or store credit only. Opened or used items are not eligible for return/exchange unless they caused a reaction*.
*For returns due to a reaction, we require photo evidence of the symptoms in order for the product to be considered for return or exchange.
ONLINE RETURN POLICY
All online purchases are final. Please note, if ordering online, be mindful that if this is a new
product for you, it might not work on your skin. If it doesn't work for you, please consider giving
the product to someone else who may benefit and/or come in for a skin evaluation or treatment if you
haven’t had one, and we can make a product recommendation for you to purchase in from our boutique.
SHIPPING POLICY
All orders are shipped USPS Priority mail with tracking between 2-5 business days from shipping date
within Canada or 5-10 days for U.S shipping. There is a flat fee $15 for up to two items and $19.99
for three items or more. You will receive an email notification when your item(s) ship.
International shipping is not available.
SERIES OF TREATMENTS / PACKAGES
We are unable to process any returns for purchased packages or prepaid series of treatments. TWISH SPA will make an effort to exchange the purchased packaged or prepaid series of treatments for an equal value product or other spa service offered at our location.
TREATMENT AND FINANCIAL AGREEMENT TERMS, CONDITIONS, DISCLAIMERS AND REFUND POLICY (EFFECTIVE 5/19/2023)
I fully understand and agree to treatment of the listed areas, and agree to pay Lux Aesthetic
Medical Spa the price quoted.
If I have paid the price quoted using a credit program, I acknowledge that I have selected the
credit program based on my own evaluation of my options. I have not relied on any recommendation or
advice of Lux Aesthetic Medical Spa or its staff with respect to financing. I understand Lux
Aesthetic Medical Spa has agreements with credit program providers but does not recommend credit
products to customers
I clearly understand that my payment is for the procedure(s) performed during the term of the
agreement and not for any specific result. NO RESULT IS GUARANTEED. I
understand that results will vary.
Additional treatments may be obtained at an additional price.
Any and all medical cosmetic injectable services which are administered are not refundable. Every
client will utilize the Daxxify, Jeuveau, Botox or Dysport, Kybella or RHA Dermal Fillers
differently. The risk of ptosis, raised muscle, lower muscle, swelling, redness or vascular
occlusion has been explained prior to treatment. Allergic reaction will be treated and any event of
an allergic reaction or adverse reaction is a risk with every client Experiencing such a event will
not constitute a refund of the completed treatment.
Client agrees to the injection treatment knowing the risk and has realistic expectations of the
results and risk. Medications are administered as approved and ordered by the facility medical
provider. Needles have a great risk of causing trauma and bruising along with swelling, redness and
tenderness. These reactions are expected and normal with aesthetic injectables. Aesthetic
medications are administered by a certified aesthetic injection provider and include on-label and
off-label treatment areas based on the client’s desire ad need as ordered.
OTHER FEES
- Shaving Fee $25. If you come in without shaving (exception – first treatment or unless we asked you not to shave)
- Digi-spa access Fee -$19.99 per month.
